FREEPROOrganize the contents and order of your Shooting Sets on a PC
Set Manager is not a photo editor. It displays HTL Camera Shooting Sets and lets you organize Favorites, All-FX inclusion, display / shooting order, registered recipes, and related set structure.
The roles are: create recipes = Photo Effects / Look Maker / Color Control, use them while shooting = Camera, organize Shooting Sets = Set Manager, batch-apply them to photos = Flow.
Free / Pro
| Feature | Free | Pro |
|---|
| View Shooting Sets | All sets | All sets |
| Editable Shooting Sets | First two | All sets |
| Third set and later | View only | Editable |
| Create / sell Commercial Sets | — | Supported |
Pro removes the Free edition's first-two-set editing limit, so every Shooting Set can be organized and edited with the same controls. Pro can also protect multiple saved recipes in the selected Shooting Set and bundle them into a Commercial Set for distribution and sale.
Set Manager Pro does not stack effects to create recipes. Photo Effects Pro creates and sells individual recipes; Set Manager Pro organizes multiple recipes and sells them together as a set.
Basic workflow
- Load all Shooting Sets from HTL Camera, or open a saved one-set file / All Sets (.htlsets) / Camera Backup.
- Organize Favorites, All-FX inclusion, display / shooting order, registered recipes, and related structure.
- Rename Shooting Sets or registered recipes when useful.
- Apply the result back to Camera in the same Suite, send the selected set / all sets directly to Flow, or transfer by file, QR, or HTL Data Image.
- Use Save All Sets when you want one file containing the current sets. It stores Shooting Sets only in .htlsets and does not include Camera device settings.
What you can organize
Favorites
Organize which items appear on the shooting screen and in what order.
All-FX shooting
This is a device-wide setting. When the workspace is read directly from Suite Camera, you can manage which effects are included or excluded. It is not stored in an All Sets file.
Registered recipes
Organize display, names, and order of recipes registered in Camera, per Shooting Set.
Multiple Shooting Sets
Free can inspect all sets and edit the first two. Pro can edit every set, including the third and later sets.
“Sell this set” → Prepare for Sale → Sales Management data
Start from “Sell this set”. If no set is selected, the entry tells you to open the Shooting Set you want to sell; otherwise it guides you to the next required step. Sales preparation does not modify your everyday Shooting Set directly. In Pro, Prepare for Sale creates a separate sales workspace while leaving the source set intact.
- Select the source set and run Prepare for Sale.
- Other-Creator Commercial content, data explicitly owned by another Creator, Material Overlay, empty/broken recipe data, and other hard blocks are automatically excluded.
- Add more candidates with Add Recipe or by copying saved recipes from another set.
- For your own normal or Free-attribute recipes, the system cannot know whether they were ever publicly released. Explicitly use Promote to Sellable to confirm them.
- Select Sale OK recipes and choose one common sample photo. Each Recipe row previews that photo with its Recipe applied. Drag/drop a different image only onto Recipes that need another subject, then create Sales Management data. Product name, price, Stripe, Publication, purchase URL, and final post image are finalized in Sales Management.
Sample-photo safety: Normal photos are allowed. An original HTL-generated QR share image can be normalized by extracting only its photo area. A normal photo containing a readable QR or an HTL Data Image cannot be used as sample material.
Free attribute does not prove public release. It is therefore not an automatic hard block. Other-Creator products and Material Overlay remain hard blocks and cannot be bypassed by promotion.
Copy a recipe to another set
Pro can copy a saved Recipe to other sets. A purchased Commercial Recipe keeps the same Commercial Recipe Key in every copy, so purchase/Trial entitlement is not multiplied by the number of set copies. When preparing a sales set, another Creator's product is filtered out.
Camera / Flow integration
The main route is Camera → Set Manager → Camera. In Suite you can also send the selected set → Flow or all sets → Flow directly.
Your photo library can also act as a recipe archive. A Recipe loaded temporarily into Camera may later disappear from Camera, but if you shoot with it and save a photo that contains HTL recipe information, the Recipe can be restored from that photo. Commercial Recipes can be found again through Camera search, and QR-backed saves make later or cross-device recovery even easier. In short: find sold Recipes again by search / restore used Recipes from photos / use QR for easier transfer.
Save All Sets stores only the Shooting Sets currently in the workspace in one .htlsets file. Camera device settings, device-wide All-FX targets, and captured photos are not included. Loading a .htlsets file in Camera replaces only the Shooting Set list and does not overwrite the current device settings.
Use Camera Backup in Camera Settings when you want to save and restore the device settings as well. Keeping set transfer separate from full-device restore prevents accidental settings overwrite.
Once settings created in Photo Effects, Look Maker, Color Control, or related tools are registered in Camera, Set Manager decides where and in what order they appear; Flow can then use the recipes inside those sets for batch processing.
Set Manager itself does not edit recipe internals. In Pro, send a saved recipe to Photo Effects Pro, adjust parameters at any stack stage, then use “Apply to Set Manager and return” to update the same recipe.
HTL Data Image
HTL Data Image is a shared HTL data path, not a Camera-only feature. Set Manager can carry Shooting Set data as either an HTL guide-only image or one photo + HTL guide.
Like files and QR, it can be used to move Shooting Sets between PCs, phones, social posts, and messages.
No nesting: An HTL Data Image cannot be used as the photo material for another HTL Data Image. Share an existing HTL Data Image as the original PNG. A normal photo containing a readable QR is also rejected as material.
Pro license
There is no separate Set Manager Pro EXE. Activate a Set Manager Pro license in HTL Suite, and Set Manager inside the same Suite becomes Pro.
Pro adds all-set editing and Commercial Set export using Creator identity and Trial policy. Stripe product, price, Publication, and purchase URL are finalized in Sales Management.
Troubleshooting
I cannot edit the third set or later
This is normal in Free. You can still inspect those sets. Pro makes all Shooting Sets editable.
I reordered items but Camera did not change
Use the Suite Camera apply action to return the changes to Camera, then check again.
I want to send sets to Flow
In Suite, use “Selected Set → Flow” or “All Sets → Flow.” In Flow, select the set and then the recipe to apply to photos.
I want to change photo color or effect strength
Set Manager itself does not edit those parameters. In Pro, use “Adjust in Photo Pro” on the target recipe, edit stack-stage parameters in Photo Effects Pro, then return the result to Set Manager.
Does Save All Sets include Camera settings?
No. Save All Sets creates a set-only .htlsets file. Loading it in Camera does not overwrite device settings. Use Camera Settings for a full Camera Backup that includes device settings.
